House rules.
SCREAM is an opinion board. Everything you read here is the personal opinion of an anonymous user, not a statement of fact by us. Posting requires a Rs. 5 fee and your agreement to the rules below. Break them and you lose your rant, your fiver, and your ability to come back.

No real names, no doxxing
Do not name, identify, photograph or otherwise reveal the identity of any private individual. No phone numbers, addresses, employers or workplaces. Public figures are fair game on their public conduct only.

No threats, no incitement
Venting is welcome. Threats of violence, harm, sexual assault, or calls to attack a specific person or group are not. We will remove them and may share them with authorities where required by law.

No hate speech
Rants attacking people on the basis of race, religion, caste, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality are removed without notice. Punch up, not sideways.

No illegal content
No content that is unlawful in India or your jurisdiction, including but not limited to CSAM, terrorism, narcotics sale, financial fraud or piracy.

Opinions, not facts
Treat every rant as the personal opinion of an anonymous user. Do not state defamatory facts about identifiable people, businesses or brands. If you can't prove it in court, don't post it as fact.

You own what you post
By posting you confirm the rant is yours, you are over 18, and you grant SCREAM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, moderate and remove it.

No refunds on the Rs. 5 fee
The Rs. 5 posting fee is non-refundable, including for rants we remove for breaking these rules. Pay angry, post angry, stay angry.

We can remove anything
We may remove any rant, ban any handle and disable any IP at our sole discretion, with or without reason. There is no appeals court for petty.

SCREAM acts as a neutral intermediary under applicable safe-harbour provisions (including Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in India, and equivalent statutes elsewhere). We do not endorse, verify or moderate user content prior to publication. To report unlawful content, email grievance@scream.example. We will respond within 24 hours and remove unlawful content within 36 hours of a valid complaint, in line with the IT Rules, 2021.
